Vampire Diaries and Eastwick

I love these two shows and watch them religiously, but my favorite show always seem to get canceled, it happened to Men in Trees and some other shows that I can't think of right now. Why do they always cancel the good ones and leave the crappy ones? I just heard that they canceled Eastwick and my boyfriend told me that he heard that they also canceled The Vampire Diaries. I'm not sure if they really are going through with the cancellation of Vampire Diaries because when I just googled it I read that they just got signed to do more shows. I hope it doesn't get canceled. I know it's kinda like Twilight, that I love even more than Vampire Diaries, but that's why I like it. Well, that and the fact that I love anything that has to do with vampires! To be fair Vampire Diaries is based on a series of books that came out way before Twilight, but Edward is way cuter than Stefan. lol. And I haven't read The Vampire Diaries series yet. So I don't really have the whole story or love the characters as much as I do the characters in Twilight. Oh well, I guess there's nothing I can do but keep watching these shows. The Men in Trees fans tried to save that show and they did for a little while, but in the end it still met it's demise.

P.S. Vampire Diaries is on the CW on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. and Eastwick is on ABC on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m.

Nova: Becoming Human on PBS

I just watched part 2 of the Nova series called Becoming Human the other day on PBS. It was very interesting, and I'll have to remember to watch part 3 next Tues. It's about evolution and the different stages of man. They had skeletons of Cro-Magnon man and other men. So I was thinking that Bigfoot and other animals like him could be one of these early versions of man that never evolved or that evolved into something else, instead of man. Since some witnesses claim that Orang Pendek looks like an orangutan or other primate, but walks upright, like a human. Orang Pendek which means "wild short man" in Indonesian is a small Bigfoot like creature that lives in Sumatra. I was just going through one of my Cryptozoology books entitled "Cryptozoology A-Z" by Loren Coleman and Jerome Clark, and it states that someone by the name of W.C. Osman Hill stated that there could be a possible link to fossils of the Java man, Homo erectus. So at least I'm not alone in my theory.
