Yeti Mention

I was watching the Monsters vs. Aliens Halloween special the other night and they mentioned a Yeti! SPOILER ALERT: they said the the Yeti sighting had been a hoax. lol. cute! I loved the movie Monsters vs. Aliens and I also loved the halloween special.

My Jack o Lantern!

So I tried the pumpkin masters stencil of the Chupacabra and as you can see from the pic, it didn't turn out so well. On the last carve I broke a huge piece off, so I had to abandon that idea and just carve a face on the back of the pumpkin. Oh well. *sigh* There's always next year.

I Love My New Poster!

I recently bought a poster that has been on my etsy favorites list for a while. I wanted to wait until I moved to my new apartment to buy it, so I finally got it and I love it! I wanted to put it above our bed, but I'm scared it'll fall down. But it's definitely going in the bedroom. It so romantic and spooky! I really want a shirt, maybe I'll get one for Christmas or Hanukkah. >=)

Pumpkin Masters!

It's that time of year again! Time to buy a new Pumpkin Masters carving pattern book! Yay! This year I choose the Halloween Horrors edition with 8 terrifying patterns! lol. They include Gatekeeper, Surprise Visit (the Grim Reaper), Pharaonoid (a mummy), Three Ring Circus (a scary clown, what clown isn't scary?), Triple Threat (a three headed dog, Cerberus), Evil Mind (an ugly monster with his brain exposed), Blind Date (Medusa), and last but certainly not least...a Chupacabra! I kinda wanted to buy it when I saw Cerberus, but then I saw the Chupacabra and I had to have it! (It's the jack-o-lantern on the far left, in the pic, the one that looks like my cat when he gets mad.) On the easy to challenging skill level it is a 3 out of 4 pumpkins. I think the hardest level I've done before was a level 2. So this may be beyond my skill level, but I'm gonna do it or die trying! Wish me luck! I'll post of pic of the completed jack-o-lantern when it's done, which won't be until next Fri. probably. So check back.

Fall at the Cemetery!

I went to a local cemetery and took some pics of the fall leaves. They're beautiful! I love it that I live in a place that gets all four seasons. Fall is my favorite! I love the changing leaves and the cool weather. I also love the fact that I don't have to drive far to see it.

Spooky Decorations!

I've started decorating for Halloween. At least that's what I've been telling my fiancee, I think he knows me well enough by now to know that I'm not gonna put away the decorations after Halloween. lol. Anyways, I put little toy spiders in the cotton ball container and toothbrush holder in the bathroom. That's it for now, I still have a lot of unpacking to do, we just moved into a new apartment.

Halloweenie Food!

I just bought my favorite cereal, Count Chocula! Chocolate and marshmallows what more could you want? lol. I also bought some Spooky Cat Cookies by Pillsbury, they were delicious! So of course I had to blog about them. I love Halloween and all of the spooky treats that come with it! I'm even gonna bake a Halloween cake!
