So I tried the pumpkin masters stencil of the Chupacabra and as you can see from the pic, it didn't turn out so well. On the last carve I broke a huge piece off, so I had to abandon that idea and just carve a face on the back of the pumpkin. Oh well. *sigh* There's always next year.
