Kinda Spooky

If you just happen across this huge field of giant white concrete corn located in Dublin, Oh. you might be a little bit spooked. You might wonder, who put these here and why? Was it giant alien Indians? (Yes, I stole that from comedian Dane Cook.) Or maybe it's some kind of a Stonehenge? The real answer is none of the above. It's a tribute to Sam Frantz, the inventor of hybrid corn and it is set in a field that used to be a real corn field. There's 109 of these giant corn statues, made by artist Malcolm Cochran. Spooky, huh?

  1. That is really creepy. It looks like the place where vegetables go to die, or maybe where the Jolly Green Giant and his Niblet friends are buried. O_o
