Cemeteries in Ohio

There are an awful lot of cemeteries in here in Ohio. That was one of the first things that I noticed when I arrived here a few years ago. It made me wonder why. Maybe people come here to die? Or maybe there are a lot of suicides here, god knows I've fantasized about that while living here. lol. Or maybe it's just because there's plenty of space and rural areas that can accommodate them. Who knows. But the fact is that cemeteries are the perfect place for spooky happenings. So of course I had to check some of them out. There is a very small Mennonite cemetery in Canal Winchester, Oh. that I visited once and took lots of pictures. It is very old and some of the tombstones are broken or have fallen over or are in the process of falling over. The oldest tombstone is marked "died 1852," that I can tell from my pics. There are way older ones that don't have dates or are no longer legible. There are a lot of infant tombstones also. But other than the fact that it is a cemetery, there is nothing spooky about this place. No strange occurrences to report. I need to visit and photograph many more, hopefully soon!

  1. A couple of friends and I went on a little trip one day taking photographs of a few cememtaries in the LA area. It was during the day so it wasn't too spooky, but there were some old graves and cool masoleums. I always wanted to go on a haunted house hunt, but was never able to get one together

  2. Yeah, L.A. has some cool cemeteries. Especially Hollywood Forever with all of the celebrities buried there. I'm not sure if I would want to go inside an abandoned haunted house. That's spooky! lol. But I used to hang out at my friend's house a lot and he claimed that it was haunted, although nobody ever saw any evidence of it.
